Wild Yarns is located in the Ball Park Neighborhood of Denver. We share space with Thread, a boutique loaded with locally handmade goodness. We’re just a couple blocks from where the Rockies play baseball and only 5 blocks from 16th Street Mall.
With a special focus on Colorado and the West, Wild Yarns carries a selection of yarn that is handspun and/or hand-dyed by local artists, as well as wool and alpaca yarn from ranches in Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. As if that wasn’t enough, there are also locally-made stitch markers, shawl pins, and project bags you’ll want to add to your collection. While we focus on local and regional products, we also have a selection of yarn from Berroco, Brown Sheep, Cascade, and Classic Elite. Since we’re a small boutique, we are pretty selective and have a revolving inventory. If you stop by and see something unique that you just have to have, don’t wait because it may be replaced by something else new and exciting by the next time you visit!
Wild Yarns also offers classes on knitting, crochet, and needlefelting. Be sure to check out our Classes page to see what we’ve got on the schedule!
Whether you’re visiting us from near or far, we look forward to seeing you and hearing about your latest project!
